The GATE Foundation raises $270,000 to benefit Child Cancer Fund

The GATE Foundation, the philanthropic
affiliate of GATE Petroleum Company, raised $270,000 to benefit Child Cancer Fund at its annual charity golf tournament. Monies were raised through fundraising activities at a dinner event as well as sponsorships and registrations for the nearly 400-player golf tournament. The two-day event was held in September at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.

GATE STORES RAISE $20,000 FOR CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS

The GATE Foundation, the philanthropic branch of Jacksonville- based organization, GATE Petroleum Company, raised $20,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). The funds were raised in GATE convenience stores across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina through the company’s semi-annual paper icon campaign. Between May 1 and May 21, customers could donate $1.00 and sign their name on a CMNH paper icon for display in GATE stores. Funds were allocated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the states where the funds were raised.

THE GATE FOUNDATION RAISES $50,000 FOR AMERICAN LUNG ASSOCIATION

The GATE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Jacksonville-based GATE Petroleum Company, and GATE customers raised $50,000 for the American Lung Association. Funds were collected July 1 – December 31, 2023 in coin boxes located at the registers of all GATE locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Funding will be allocated to the respective Lung Association organizations in the communities where collected.

THE GATE FOUNDATION RAISE $48,000 FOR COMMUNITY HOSPICES

The GATE Foundation and GATE customers raised $48,000 for The Foundation of Community Hospice & Palliative Care, Heart of Hospice, Hospice of Savannah and Hospice & Palliative Care. Funds were collected January 1 – June 30, 2023 in coin boxes at the registers of all GATE locations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Funding will be allocated to the respective Community Hospice organizations in the communities where collected.

GATE STORES, FOUNDATION RAISE $35,000 FOR THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

GATE Petroleum Company, and GATE customers raised $35,000 for the American Red Cross. Funds were raised in GATE convenience stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina through the company’s semi-annual paper icon campaign. From April 1-21, customers could donate $1.00 and sign their named on a paper icon displayed in the GATE store. Funds were allocated to the respective Red Cross organizations in the communities where collected.

GATE Raises $40,000 to support Down Syndrome Awareness Month

GATE customers raised $40,000 in support of Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Funds were raised in GATE convenience stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina through the company’s “Buddy for a Buck” paper icon campaign. From October 1 – 21, customers could donate $1.00 and sign their name on a paper icon displayed in the GATE store. Customers could also donate by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Funds were allocated to local Down Syndrome Associations in the communities where collected.

GATE Stores Raise $65,000 for American Cancer Society

In Nov, 2021 Gate presented the American Cancer Society with a $65,000 donation to support breast cancer research and awareness.  Funds were raised in GATE stores across FL, GA, NC and SC as part of GATE’s pink ribbon paper icon campaign.  Customers either donated $1 and signed their name to a pink ribbon paper icon or rounded their purchase to the nearest dollar donating the difference to ACS.

GATE Annual Charity Golf Tournament Raises $170,00 for Firefighters for Families

GATE presented a check for $170,000 to St. John’s County Firefighters for Families. Funds were raised during their annual charity golf tournament held in October.  This charity supports families in need who reside in St. Johns County, Florida and promotes school readiness and attendance.

GATE Stores Raise $40,000 for ALS Association

Funds were raised in GATE’s convenience stores in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina through the company’s semi-annual paper icon campaign. Between May 1 and May 21, customers could donate $1.00 and sign their name on an ALS paper icon displayed in the GATE store or by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar. Funds were allocated to local ALS chapters throughout the regions where the funds were raised.
